Between now and the "works revealed" date, works can be added to the collection but can't be seen. When the collection is opened, all works in it become visible. This way, all participants get their gifts at the same time.

This exchange has a gift guarantee: As long as you fulfill your assignment and requested at least three unique fandoms, you will receive a gift. To keep from leaving someone out of the collective gift enjoyment, we will not reveal works until everyone who is guaranteed a gift has received one. Usually this happens if someone's originally assigned creator defaults and a pinch hitter is difficult to find or needs additional time to finish their work. Since no one gets a gift until everyone (who meets the guarantee's requirements) has a gift, everyone is incentivized to complete assignments on time, promote or pick up pinch hits, and otherwise help us stay on schedule.

Does that all make sense?
