Can I just ask: will it be possible to request the same fandom more than once using different relationships/freeforms, provided you meet the minimum number of fandoms overall?

Hi, I just have a couple of questions.

1) If I want to nominate Character & Any, where Any could be any character from that fandom or from any other fandom, should I nominate under that character's original fandom or under Crossovers? The idea is less asking for a crossover, more "if you have a cool idea for this freeform that happens to involve a character from Buffy/LOTR/etc., feel free to go for it", if that makes sense.

2) If I want to request Any for a particular fandom, I don't have to nominate that, right? (I'm assuming no based on other exchanges I've done, but I'd like to be sure before I finish my noms.)

Just had a terrible realisation: if I requested "Any" would that mean "Any nominated character or relationship", or "Any character in this fandom"?

I have a question about the bit in the FAQ that says "You can request and offer a minimum of 3 Fandom, 1 Relationship/Character, and 2 Freeforms, with a maximum of 6 Fandoms, 10 Relationships/Characters, and 20 Freeforms."

AO3's exchange signup interface allows for 10 total requests. Does the above mean that you're limiting the number of possible requests to 6? Or does it mean you'll still allow the full 10 requests, but that if you did the full ten, four of those would have to be repeated fandoms with different pairings/tags (since you said in answer to a question above that repeated fandoms are allowed)?

I really hope it's the latter!

Out of curiosity, and regardless of the answer above, what's the rationale for limiting requests and offers to 6 fandoms? I'd think it would be easier for people to be matchable if you let the ones who have 10 discrete fandoms max out on the AO3 limit (while also allowing flexibility the people who only have 3 fandoms to request each of those three times with different ships/tags).

It means any nomination character or relationship.

For 1), You could nominate under Crossover Fandom with (for ex) Steve Rogers (Marvel 616) & Character From A Fandom of Your Choice or in Marvel 616 as Steve Rogers (Marvel 616) & Character of Your Choice from Marvel 616

Hello!

That is correct. Participants can only offer/request up to 6 fandoms. I am open to increasing to 10 fandoms in future rounds, but at this time I am only comfortable moderating for 6 fandoms.

The time for the schedule on DW comm says '10pm UTC' and the time on the profile on ao3 states '8pm UTC'.

Hi mod. Since it's not allowed to offer "any" additional tag, could you please post list of unmatchable username after sign up close? That way nobody will miss the news that they are unmatchable (I have personal experience of not getting the email at all, not even in spam).

I won't post the full username, but I can post the first letter of the name.

If someone is unmatchable and email isn't happening, communicate can happen in another medium, such as screened comments.
