No one gets hurt, magic doesn't corrupt or destroy things or comes with a price, it just exists and you can just have fun with it or use it to permanently improve things.

Please give me Cassian undercover discovering 'Oh no! Feelings!' for his Imperial (officer?) mark and struggling with this and the conflict of interest it entails. I'd love Cassian to be all repressed and mission orientated at first, but then the mark saves his life / the mark proves he's not evil, just trapped in a bad situation / the mark is not evil but is just so competent he's risen through the ranks of the 'wrong' side, and comes to slowly work his way through all Cassian's walls.
