Re: canonically dead character being alive, I would just love any version of events in which Quentin never died. Normally I enjoy the kind of fix-its where he comes back too, but this is idfic and I just want him to never have been even a little bit dead. It's up to you if you just change the events in the Mirror World or change something earlier so that he doesn't even go there in the first place.
Re: dorkiness and geeking out, you can include it as a part of a fic that mainly deals with something else, or you can just write the entire fic about these amazing dorks being dorky and nerdy, in any configuration and for any reason.
Re: dreams, bonus points if they are related to the processing of trauma or deeper discovery of the self. Then again, Quentin's dorky fandom dreams are definitely just as welcome (not the sex ones, though). :D
Re: magic, I would love an AU (not a complete setting change AU, though) where the entire concept of "magic comes from pain" gets thrown out the window. Not because I necessarily hate it (it's not a DNW for any other prompts) but because this is idfic and I want the characters to just use magic the way they can use any mundane resources in life. No one gets hurt, magic doesn't corrupt or destroy things or comes with a price, it just exists and you can just have fun with it or use it to permanently improve things.

I. Just. Love stories where Miles has gone through horrible things, and then he gets together with Phoenix and it turns out okay even though he was worried. And then take that emotional arc and crank it up until the knob snaps off.

So, you can make Manfred von Karma as horrible and abusive as you want, but I'd prefer to keep all of it in the past/Miles' telling of stories/flashbacks instead of starting out with that as present day. I want him to be solidly out of there but because of that he's been hurt or changed or something. Vampirism? Infected with a magical virus? Implanted with an alien artifact? Is now an incubus and needs sex to function? He was a selkie and his skin got stolen? He was a selkie and his skin got burned?

Or go the soulmates/soulmarks route--maybe he did something to try to end his soulbond and now he's suffering for it until they can repair it?

I just want Phoenix finally finding out about the even more horrible events of Miles' past and helping him recover (with his penis).

I'd love some scenario where Ian and Barbara are separated from the Doctor and whoever else is traveling with him--possibly their Dalek time machine is a little less straightforward to operate than they assumed and they're now off on their own adventures. I really love the vibe of them trying to protect each other only to find that the other person doesn't need protecting, especially if it's Ian trying to protect Barbara. The scenario of being arrested or captured and one of them is going to get fucked and Ian insisting it should be him, only to be too tired after several days of this and Barbara finally overrules him, and they don't lose respect for each other... yeah. That. Nothing horribly violent or traumatic, I'd much rather they just be uncomfortable but pragmatic about things. Sex pollen would also work great here! Just Ian being chivalrous and Barbara being awesome and him recognizing her awesomeness.

If you go the corporal punishment route, whoever doesn't get punished should surely kink on that punishment.

First off: Robin can be any gender, can be Lucina's other parent or not, in whatever gender or genital configuration you choose. When I played my first run-through, Robin was Lucina's mother, but you do not have to go that route. Cis or trans, genderqueer/genderfluid, platonic or sexual, whatever. And if you ship the threesome, that goes for the threesome as well!

Second: No strong preference on whether Lucina reveals her identity. If she does, I would strongly prefer the reveal to not change Chrom's decision on whatever sex happens. I am not interested in "reveal after ruins everything", I'd rather get "reveal before and we're horny enough that we go for it" or "reveal after and it's too late to do anything so I'm not gonna add extra guilt to this decision". Or "no reveal and Lucina just feels guilty but also really turned on," that's good too!
