I would lovelovelove an elf mage protagonist because I'm extremely into Carter having an uncanny number of external similarities to protag for a delicious extra layer to the already-existent "Carter was filling a void in Duncan's life left by protagonist's disappearance" implication. (...Also because orc/elf hits one of my favorite flavors of physical contrast/size kink.)

These two are from the Medium episode "Being Joey Carmichael" and I find them fascinating. The idea that even before he ended up with a bullet in the brain Teddy felt he had to protect Joey--they don't really go into the twins' childhood beyond Teddy beating up the bully, but there must have been something that triggered Teddy's protective streak. Add into that the fact that Teddy seemed to enjoy his violent and chaotic lifestyle but still had this soft spot for his brother... And the fact that even when he was beat up and knew he was going to die he was still thinking about Joey, asking why they had to shoot him... ouch. I'd love to hear something about their relationship, whether that's before Teddy is killed or after, or even post-episode. What must that be like for Teddy, who spent his whole life looking out for Joey, only to see Joey essentially throwing his life away to look out for Teddy? What happened in the aftermath of Teddy's murder--how did he wind up in Joey's body? How does he manage Joey's treatment, and is there any consequence to how he seems able to override the damage done to him (why can Teddy, in Joey's body, use Joey's hands when Joey himself can barely hold onto things?)? How did Teddy's plan to make prison just "one long nap" for Joey work out? It seems like even after they get out of prison there'd still be consequences that Joey would have to face, and is Teddy still planning to hang around and look after him?

I'd love more on the relationship between Jerry and his father. It seems like they were close before the events of the film, but it changes so drastically so quickly. I'm also interested in how Henry and/or Billy fit into the equation. Henry seems to love his brother despite chafing at Jerry very clearly being the favored child, and I wonder if there's not more to his interactions with Anne than just romantic pursuit.
What would Jeremy, Henry, and William's relationship be like if Jeremy did survive but wasn't capable of doing all the good that William expected? Would William abandon him for Henry, reversing their roles? How much of William's love for Jeremy is tied up in all the good he can do?
Okay, id time--I'm all over that whump. emotional hurt/comfort, regular hurt comfort, medical whump... I'm fascinated with what might have happened had Jerry survived the accident, at least physically. In the film he dies immediately so there wasn't that much conflict in choosing to put his brain in the robot. But if he survived, if there was some distant chance that he might be able to survive in his own body, William would have to ask himself whether it would be worth killing the body to save the mind.
And Billy, what the hell must he be thinking? They don't mention it in the movie but it seems extremely likely that he would have blamed himself (and that his grandfather would to some degree blame him). After all, Jerry was going after Billy's toy plane when he was hit by the truck.

My attachment to Garret is two-fold. In the first place, I identify strongly with "extremely anxious individual trying to do their best and constantly feeling like a failure." In the second place, I wish he was my dad (hence the Abby & Garret relationship request).
I love the relationship Jordan and Garret have--the fact that it's platonic alone would be enough, but the fact that he's so paralyzed with anxiety a lot of the time but is so often willing to break rules and go to bat for her really gets me (being the... nervous... sort myself). And the fact that whenever he has a problem she's there to offer to break some faces for him is very Jordan, but also very sweet in its own way. I'd love to see some hurt/comfort (whether that's physical or emotional), preferably with Garret on the receiving end.
For Abby and Garret, give me all of the dad!Garret. That can look however you want--it could be the canon-typical struggles he has with her or something completely sweet and fluffy. I can't stress enough how much I love protective paternal figures doing the best they can for their daughter(s).
