I just love the vampire husbands and I'd love to see them taking care of each other even when one of them is a dysfunctional mess!

Eskel/Geralt: these two are childhood friends, and I'd love to see how that turns into sex and a romance. Is it pining? Is it a natural slide from friends to fuckbuddies to lovers? Does something situational intervene and cause them to hook up and realize they could be more?

Dijkstra/Geralt: this is the ship that all the size kink tags apply to. Dijkstra is supposed to be a HUGE guy, near 7 feet with a dick to match, and I've always figured Geralt was an eager bottom who isn't opposed to a little hatefucking/reluctant-allies-with-benefits. So, this is potentially 2 separate requests OR 2 parts of the same request. Part 1 is that I just want Istredd getting to be the pillow prince he deserves to be and getting epic dicking from a group of very willing and excited witchers. Part 2 is that I really ship Geralt/Istredd, and I would enjoy them pining for each other and then working it out! If you only do one or the other, that's still amazing.

I want this beautiful mage to get lavishly fucked by as many handsome witchers as possible. Look, probably a few of us had pants-feelings watching Jaskier get tortured by Rience. I'd love to see that torture turn sexual. I'm not interested in brutal, painful rape, but I am interested in Jaskier being forced to "choose" to do something sexual in order to avoid being further hurt, and then facing the squirmy horror of being forced to physically enjoy something he manifestly does not want.

I'm also very interested in Rience trying to use sex/orgasms to get Jaskier to cough up info about Geralt, so you could even write a slightly AU scenario where Jaskier has no idea what Rience's motivations are and doesn't realize he's being used, if you wanna have Rience straight up seduce Jaskier rather than kidnapping him.

I tend to think Rosa figures things out sooner than Christoph does, but I definitely would not mind mutual identity confusion

Optional flavor: I really like the idea of Brycen and Rosa having mad onscreen chemistry and getting cast as love interests in an action movie over it and Christoph having feelings over that. Also love the possessive feelings of realizing your crush is an object of lust/infatuation for the masses.

Premises I would love:

-Reveal coincides with jealousy! Christoph comes to do a show at Pokéstar Studios and Rosa is posing for slightly risqué Sneasel Ninja gravures (with robocop Brycen???) and he simultaneously realizes she's also famous and oh shit he hasn't asked her out. Or Christoph sees a movie preview with Rosa and oh hey she has a sexy scene, or is getting grabbed and kissed by Brycen as the climactic romance moment of an action movie, etc.

-Christoph's manager finally convinces him to do a movie role. He's dreading it, especially since his character apparently has a love interest...and then he meets his costar and it's Rosa and what??? Mega bonus points if he's initially trying to keep up the charade of not being Curtis.

-Christoph gets sent to interview Rosa and is trying desperately to not react and not let on he's Curtis.

-Someone comes up for an autograph and Christoph is like "oh shit" but then they hold out a photo book and it's full of pictures of Rosa and what?

I don't know the answer because I haven't actually finished this series. (I just finished Book 4.) But I WANT the answer to be "We don't fall in love and have a tragically beautiful romance across time and space because we both put the fate of the world before our personal desires." (Not yet, but soon.)
I just want more of these two being a complicated mess of stoicism and feelings: resenting each other, supporting each other, feeling guilty for what they've done to one another, but above all, understanding each other like nobody else can. Kallandras is the only one Evayne will listen to when she's just come from someplace really dark, and he's the only character who doesn't hate it when she shows up (despite the fact that, pre-canon, he was probably the person who hated her most in the world). I love all those passionate, complicated feelings, and I love the TENSION that arises from the fact that they can never just sit and hash things out because of her timey-wimey situation.
Because I haven't read Books 5 & 6 yet, I do ask that you avoid spoilers. (I admit that I have no idea how hard that might be.) On the other hand, you're basically free to do whatever you want because I won't know the difference anyway! Set the story before or during Book 4, or just go AU for anything that happens after Book 4. You can be like "the Lord of Night decided to take a break and regroup after the rise of Arkosa, so Kallandras went camping in the woods for a month" and I'll just accept it. And like... if you do accidentally mention something that happens in Book 5 or 6, it's not a big deal. I want fic more than I want to stay unspoiled.

My absolute favorite trope is Hardened Cynical Man/Competent Powerful Woman He Is 100% Ready to Die For. I love how soft Hector gets for Maeve, how loyal he is to her. She abandons him to his death, and the very next day he's saying, "She is my light. She is all I ever dreamed life could be." Damn.
I love the idea of Maeve & Hector as a soulbonded pair/soulmates/star-crossed lovers, but with a high-tech dystopian twist. Having a deep connection they can't explain (maybe it's an unexpected synergy of their programming, or maybe it's an Easter egg slipped in by a Behavior tech on a dare). Being drawn to each other over and over, only to be killed and forget each other over and over. I'd love to see scenes of them interacting before canon - different ways in which their paths might have crossed, different possible outcomes of their storyline, times they may have teamed up or even fallen in love before.
I also love different scenarios for what might happen once they've become self-aware. Will their connection get stronger and stronger to the point where they can feel and talk to each other telepathically? Can Maeve intentionally strengthen it? Could they start remembering their past lives and past encounters with each other?
As for Lee, I’m OBSESSED with every little crumb of him interacting with his own creations. I want MORE MORE MORE of Lee being totally mindfucked to hear his own lines being spouted back at him and genuinely offended that his characters aren’t behaving in the ways he meant for them to. Or ultimately turned on by it?
I don’t see them as a committed threesome, BUT I can see Lee and Hector both being 100% loyal to and obsessed with Maeve. I can also see Lee being a little bit obsessed with Hector, considering Hector is basically his self-insert power fantasy. You know that rarepair that didn't get a lot of interest from the rest of the fandom and never became canon, but to you it's RIGHT THERE, you can see so clearly how great it could have been, and at some point it seeped into your blood, it's carved out a cozy little niche in your brain and it's never going away, and you've just learned to live with the nagging dull ache of knowing you'll never, ever have enough content to satisfy this little rarepairasite inside you?
This is that rarepair for me.
I REALLY love the adversarial nature of their relationship and how they discover their similarities over the course of the show, even as they hurtle towards a final deathmatch. I feel like, in canon, there was the potential for them to end up as either ride-or-die allies or mortal enemies; anything in-between would always be balanced on a knife’s edge. I'm happy to read about them walking that knife's edge and/or falling to either side of it. A happy ending is great, but it shouldn't be too easily achieved.
Prompts:
- Secret relationship / codependency / adversarial sex / back-channel negotiations that turn into something more set during the canon timeline. I love the idea of Tom being totally head-over-heels for her and still knowing that he will probably have to kill her someday because everything she believes is wrong and she’ll lead the fleet to ruin. Tom earnestly trying really hard (well, as earnest as he can be) to nudge her in the right direction so he won’t have to kill her.
- Tom’s POV (or both their POVs) during the mutiny. Tom being 1000% in love with Laura and still ready to blow her ship apart, because he can’t stand by and watch her and Bill be all cozy and complacent while the fleet falls down around their ears. (Bill and Laura can have domestic bliss or they can have power, but goddammit, he’ll take a bullet before he’ll let them have both). - AU where Roslin and Zarek become allies instead of Roslin and Adama. We saw the potential early on when she was a fugitive and Zarek harbored her, but by the time they all left Kobol she and Adama were thick as thieves and that was that; her alliance with the military was clear, and Zarek could never not oppose that kind of centralization of power. In an alternate universe I think it could have been the opposite: she and Zarek make a political alliance to oppose military power at all costs, and Adama ends up being the odd one out while Roslin and Zarek come to rely on each other and defend each other.
- AU with Tom and Laura running shit together on New Caprica. (I DREAM OF THIS.) Maybe Adama never comes back to save them for whatever reason. Tom and Laura are able to form an effective resistance against the Cylons, with all the bickering and ethical disagreements and shared guilt and leaning on each other that comes with that. Maybe Adama does come back and is shocked to find that she’s taken up with Tom Zarek. He lashes out (because he 100% would) and Laura has to deal with the fallout of that. Her being caught between the two of them is A++ for me.
- All of this has happened before, and all of it will happen again: Laura and Tom reenacting their story across the centuries and planets. Maybe sometimes he manages to kill her. Maybe sometimes he doesn’t have to. Maybe he, she and Bill Adama are always reborn together and two of them are always set against the remaining one. I’m here for all the reincarnation and past life stuff you want to give me. (Note: I’d prefer the dynamics here to be Laura/Tom & Laura/Bill. I don’t see Bill & Tom ever having anything more than a begrudgingly respectful relationship at best.)

- Go all-in on the Learning The Fine Art Of Torture tag if you want—I nominated it specifically with this request in mind. The novel mentions that Meng Yao "was only able to capture Wen Ruohan’s interest by catering to his needs, making all sorts of cruel yet amusing devices" and I would be very interested to see what the hell this entailed, in as much excruciating detail as you're up for. I don't imagine that Meng Yao likes being cruel to whichever random prisoners Wen Ruohan points him at, but he does strike me as having a "if I'm going to do this (and I am), I may as well do the best damn job of it that anyone has ever seen" kind of attitude about the whole ordeal, with a scarily good ability to compartmentalize.
- Relatedly, if you don't want to write graphic torture scenes but you're still interested in it conceptually: I like reading about the psychological toll it must've taken on him to try to maintain a sense of self while spending basically every waking moment playing a role and deceiving people, especially given that this went on for years. Potentially inadvisable coping mechanisms like alcohol use, self-harm, eating disorders, dissociation, etc. are totally fair game here, if that's where you want to go; I don't have squicks or triggers around this stuff except what's in my DNWs.
- Palace drama/imperial court drama vibes: siblings and cousins jockeying for political power, concubines trying to poison each other, nervewracking banquets and parties where each person there is keeping at least one very big secret and trying to figure out what everyone else knows without giving too much away about their own machinations, etc.
- How was Meng Yao able to get letters out of there to Lan Xichen without getting caught? (Epistolary excerpts are loved, if you feel like including some!)
- How did Meng Yao and Qin Su meet?
- What was Wen Ruohan's decision-making process like for elevating Meng Yao to such a position of importance in the span of only a few years, especially since Meng Yao's cultivation level wasn't especially high? I've always thought that no matter how skilled Meng Yao was at creative torture and emotional manipulation and politics and so on, the fact that he was able to earn such a high position so quickly as a complete outsider must reflect poorly on the people who were close to WRH previously (maybe even including his sons, although he did seem fond of Wen Xu), and I'm very interested in what was going on there.
- Worldbuilding using actual historical sources/research: I know MDZS is intentionally not anchored firmly in any specific time period, but I still have a huge thing for fics that make a best effort at incorporating details about stuff like building techniques, metallurgy, textiles, farming, or other things along those lines in whatever way the author considers plausible.
- Background/past/future Xiyao is always loved :)

Dear author,

this letter goes for all my fandoms in this letter, as I feel that with Id Pro Quo you basically now know a million things about my fic id already. The dreamwidth link leads you to a generic "Dear Author" letter, as Id Pro Quo tags really do cover things like plot preferences, beloved genre, ... already.

More generally speaking (so to distill, say, the essence of my accumulated tags): What I like is: Fluff, happiness, slice of life fics, the pining/angst/heartache of thinking you aren't loved when you actually are (see: pining, fake xyz, sex pollen, aliens made them do it, ... name-your-plot-device :-) ...), moments we didn’t get to see in canon. I really like happy endings (that’s like my biggest thing … give me angsting and pining and sadness, but please also a happy ending).

Hector/Andromache & Helen - I love Hector and Helen's relationship! Seeing how they form their bond, seeing how Hector and Andromache react to Helen's arrival in Troy. Or strategizing about how to proceed - we know Hector listens to martial advice from Andromache, and Helen knows a lot of the Greek kings and princes personally. Andromache trying to befriend Helen, for Hector's sake. And then what happens after Hector is killed? In the early years of the war, when Troy hoped the war would be short and victorious, how did Helen integrate in the Trojan court?
