Nominations Clean Up

Everything's been approved! Now is time for clean up! This will occur until January 28th at 10PM UTC.

There are no rejections, but it might seem so from your end. I had to edit some tags that were approved, and AO3 lets you do that by removing the original tag from the tagset. If your nomination was rejected and does not appear in the tagset, please let me know. If it was edited to be something you did not intend, let me know. For both cases, please link to your nomination and let me know which nomination to fix.

 

If there’s anything in the tagset that needs changing, like characters/relationships that have wandered, typos, trope categories to be added to/removed from a freeform, etc, let me know here.

Something to note:

There are tags that look like duplicates, but in this exchange, they are not considered duplicates. For example:

• Hurt/Comfort - Rape Recovery
• Noncon - Rape Recovery
• Rape Recovery

These are not considered duplicates because the trope prefix gives context to what lens the rape recovery is to be viewed under. Perhaps Hurt/Comfort is focusing on blankets and hugs, while Noncon involves graphic flashbacks to the rape. Rape Recovery as a standalone tag is free to be interpreted in whatever iddy way the recipient would like. Since ids are a vortex, there are many ways to interpret this standalone tag.

This is not to say that tags with prefixes cannot be redundant. Do not hesitate to mention tags that seem redundant. However, these tags might remain in the tagset if they're not considered duplicates because of the prefix affecting iddiness.

I think something on AO3 glitched when approving ships, since a Designed Survivor 60 Days ship (Jung Soo-Jung/Cha Young-Jin/Kim Nam-Wook/Park Soo-Kyo) appears also under MCU other than under the correct fandom.

I've mistyped a freeform tag, can it be fixed? It's "Accidental Marriage - Married to Each Other While Undercover Becomes Being Legally Binding"

It should be either "Being" or "Becomes", whichever sounds best (becomes?).

I nommed H/C - Character with non-overeating-induced stomach pain gets belly rubbed and H/C - Sick/injured character is lovingly cared for and given tea and cuddles. If you want to change H/C to Hurt/Comfort for consistency with the other hurt/comfort tags, I'm good with that.

There are some runaway relationship tags - judging from the disambiguation, it looks like the relationships with "MR:PMMM" under "Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika | Puella Magi Madoka Magica" should be moved to "Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story."

As one of the nominators for the "rape recovery" tag, I am glad you made this decision. I saw it put forth as one needing to be changed, but I didn't want mine changed to Hurt/Comfort because the character is dealing with it alone, no one is comforting them, so I'm glad you did not switch it. Thank you.
