Nominations clarification post #3.5: a plea from your mods
For those not familiar with AO3's delightful and wonderful tag approval interface, it will only show a limited selection of tags in the queue, and can become so clogged by unapprovable tags that no further approvals are possible. That is currently the case with the IPQ tag queue.
If you nominated ships where a character's name has a pipe character | in it, please edit them to use only one name for that character. For example, Andy | Andromache of Scythia/Quynh | Noriko (The Old Guard 2020) should be changed to Andy/Quynh (The Old Guard 2020). If a pipe is needed to distinguish between two similarly named characters, comment and let us know.
If you nominated Crossover Fandom ships, please give the canon for each character in parentheses after the character name. For example, Ninth Doctor (DW 2005)/Willy Wonka (Willy Wonka books - Dahl).
Once nominations close, we will do our best to fix nominations where we know what the fix is, but remaining incorrectly formatted nominations may be rejected so we can get to the rest of the queue.
A full final clarification post will be made tomorrow.
