URGENT!!! SIGN UPS RE-OPENED!
I ran matching! There were 19 people without matches. I matched up everyone who AO3 told me had no matches but actually did, and the final count of unmatchable people was finalized at 19.
This is the plan:
Everyone will be matched based on 1 fandom, 1 character/relationship, and 1 freeform in the same request. You do not need to write every single character/pairing and freeform that someone requests, only one of each. Make sure you match on someone with a fandom, relationship, and freeform.
EDIT: If you currently match to just one person and worry their sign up might be deleted after the 15th, don't feel pressured about adding to your offers. There will be another round of asking unmatchable people to adjust their offers after the 15th. Hopefully this number won't be too large.
This is the plan:
- Sign Ups have been re-opened for 48 hours until February 15th at 1AM UTC. This is only for the 19 unmatchable people to adjust their offers.
- I will email all 19 people to let them know that they need to adjust their offers to become matchable. Anyone who does not do this will have their sign up deleted. IF YOU DO NOT OFFER ANYTHING THAT MATCHES SOMEONE'S REQUEST, YOUR SIGNUP WILL BE DELETED.
- New sign ups will be accepted, but IF YOU DO NOT OFFER ANYTHING THAT MATCHES SOMEONE'S REQUEST, YOUR SIGNUP WILL BE DELETED.

(Anonymous) 2020-02-13 03:59 am (UTC)(link)I ask because, like the person you're responding to, I have one person I can offer very confidently, and then a few others less confidently. I'd prefer to stick to matching the person I am confident of, but don't want to be deleted if they are deleted!

I'll delete anyone from the current 19 who are still unmatchable, as well as anyone new who signed up who are not matchable.
Afterward, for anyone who signed up before today who were originally matchable, I'll contact them to adjust offers as if it were the first round of matching. Hopefully this number will not be too large. I anticipate there was a perfect storm of factors that led to the initial 19 unmatchable offers.
I don't think it's necessary to adjust your offers now. Worst case, I email you to adjust offers and you match to the less-confident match anyway.
Thank you for asking!
